 Phonics Code Book 2  is a reader designed to be read to a child while pointing out the initial or medial focus sound in words. Models and scaffolds a child into reading simple books independently.  Use the discussion questions on the last page to further comprehension, vocabulary and expressive language skills.

The book is decodable after lesson 18 and can be revisited by children.

Each book in the Seed Series has been especially written for New Zealand teachers. The books follow the  Ready to Read Phonics Plus scope and sequence with a minimal number of tricky/heart words, so you can easily integrate them into your existing programme.
